Assault took place during one of league's biggest matches

A Trabzonspor fan assaulted the match's fourth official during a 4-0 defeat to Fenerbahce during the game's final minutes.

The referee decided to abandon the match immediately, blowing the final whistle minutes earlier than should have been the case due to safety reasons, with the outcome already quite clear.
