Man Utd duo all smiles after training at Carrington

David De Gea and Antonio Valencia both looked to be in good spirits after completing a light Manchester United training session at Carrington on Thursday afternoon.

The pair were in understandably good moods after helping the Red Devils make it back to back wins in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

United still in the hunt for a top-four finish in the Premier League as they look to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.

However, Louis van Gaal’s side are preparing to turn their attentions to FA Cup affairs and Saturday evening’s crunch clash with Everton at Wembley in the semi-final.

De Gea shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account on Thursday afternoon and wrote: “Training completed with our minds on Wembley. Hoping we can make you all happy on Saturday. #FuerzaEcuador”

Manchester United finished fourth in the league last season but were dumped out of the Champions League at the group stage back in December.
