Jack Wilshere was joined by his girlfriend Adriana Michael at The Emirates

Jack Wilshere will be hoping to be back on the Emirates Stadium pitch before the end of the season, but the Arsenal midfielder looked relaxed as he enjoyed Thursday’s game against West Brom from the stands with his girlfriend.

The midfielder has been working hard on his fitness levels in recent weeks and has been playing for the north London club’s Under-21 side as he bids to make his first appearance of the season.

Wilshere has been sidelined for the whole of the campaign after undergoing ankle surgery back at the start of the season.

However, the England international is now closing in on a return as he bids to prove his fitness to England manager Roy Hodgson ahead of this summer’s European championships in France.

Wilshere looked relaxed as the enjoyed the game from his box alongside his girlfriend Adriana Michael on Thursday night as Arsenal moved back into third place in the Premier League.

The Gunners travel to Sunderland on Sunday afternoon.
