Ander Herrera is keeping himself fit during the international break by doing some lengths in the swimming pool.
The Manchester United midfielder has not been called up to Vicente Del Bosque’s Spain squad for their forthcoming friendly games and so has been left to work on his fitness levels following the Red Devils’ derby win over Manchester City at the weekend.
The 26-year-old has not featured for the Red Devils since the 1-1 draw with West Ham in the FA Cup quarter-finals earlier this month but will be hoping to earn his place back in United’s first team ahead of their return to action after the international break.
Herrera has scored three goals and made two assists in 21 Premier League games for Louis van Gaal’s men so far this season.
And the Spaniard looked to be in good spirits as he worked on his fitness in the pool on Tuesday afternoon.
Herrera posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Swimming time.”
