Robert Lewandowski admits to stealing cars & messing with the police in his new autobiography

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is set to release his new autobiography shortly, and today the German press have been revealing some of the stories in the book.

What’s clear is that Lewandowski’s childhood in Poland was troublesome.

Far from being a good, sweet kid, Lewandowski was rather wild as a teenager.

As reported in Bild, Lewandowski has admitted to repeatedly stealing his parents cars for joyrides before he even had a license to drive.

The striker also reveals how he used to prank the local police station by hurling banana peels and yoghurt pots at their premises.

His trouble with authority was also evident when, after getting a bad grade at school, he tried attack his teacher.

In a scarier incident, he discussed how he once fended off an attacker who came at him with a knife.

Lewandowski also caused trouble when playing football, as he was caught smoking during a training camp. His punishment was to look after a fire extinguisher for half a year.
