World's smallest team robbed of victory

This weekend may well have left fans of English League Two team Accrington Stanley feeling somewhat bitter. During their visit to Wimbledon, the referee ruled out a goal scored by the self-proclaimed world's smallest club going into the break. The referee whistled half-time just as Stanley's forward fired the ball past the keeper. The team's subsequent appeals to change the call fell on deaf ears and the game ended in a goalless draw.
