CR7, king of Real estate

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has picked himself up a hotel in the most exclusive area of Monte Carlo for a cool 140 million euros to add to the real estate portfolio the Portuguese star has been amassing in recent months.
According to British company, The Proto Group, the deal to purchase the Monaco property was completed last week and is a collaboration between the real estate agent, owned by Italian Alessandro Proto, and America's Donald Trump.
Proto also sold Cristiano Ronaldo a loft apartment in New York's Trump Tower back in August 2015, at a cost of around 16 million euros.
Both acquisitions are the latest of CR7's forays into real estate, which began with the star signing up to become a partner and the new face of Portuguese hotel group, Pestana, owned by Dionísio Pestana, in mid-December of last year.
The Pestana Group project involved an investment of 70 million euros and the opening of four hotels located in Funchal (Ronaldo's hometown on the island of Madeira), Lisbon, Madrid and New York.
