Alexis Sanchez enjoys family time ahead of Arsenal v Chelsea

Alexis Sanchez looks to be in good spirits as he bids to try and prove his fitness ahead of Arsenal’s crunch clash with Chelsea this weekend.

The Chile international has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw with Norwich back in late November but is now closing in on a return to action.

Sanchez was pictured in training with his Arsenal team-mates on Thursday, after Arsene Wenger confirmed that he would not risk playing the forward on Sunday unless he was fully fit.

However, the 27-year-old kept himself in a cheery mood on Thursday evening as he spent some time with his loved ones.

Sanchez shared the pictures above and below on his Instagram account and wrote: “❤️🏡”

Arsenal head into Sunday’s clash with Chelsea top of the Premier League table on goal difference from second-placed Leicester City.

The north London side have not won the title since the 2003-04 season.
