Manchester City have unveiled their new club badge
The new design returns to the classic round shape of previous crests prior to 1997 and incorporates the traditional Manchester ship, three rivers and red rose. The eagle and stars of the current badge have been dropped.
The emblem, designed following a 30-day consultation period with fans, was revealed prior to City's Boxing Day clash with Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium and will be adopted by the club from next season.
