ACE Jamie Vardy’s Hollywood movie could be ruined because he is set to be played by an American actor.
RECORD-BREAKER: Jamie Vardy
Bosses at movie giant Warner Brothers are planning a film based on the rags-to-riches story of the Leicester City scoring sensation.
Jamie, 28, stormed into the record books by bagging goals in 11 consecutive Premier League games this season.
STAR: Leonardo DiCaprio
LEAD?: Notebook star Ryan Gosling
Movie bosses think they can turn his life story into a heart-warming blockbuster like the 1989 baseball hit Field Of Dreams.
But it’s reckoned that Hollywood bigwigs will want a well-known US star to play Vardy, with Ryan Gosling, 35, Leonardo DiCaprio, 41, and even Matt Damon, 45, being linked to the role.

A Warner Brothers source confirmed: "There is a lot of excitement about the Vardy project because companies have been looking at a new feel-good picture like Field Of Dreams for some time.
"When the research was done it was realised that soccer is very much attracting attention all over the States now.
"The only question mark is whether the part of Vardy should be played by an American or Englishman. There is an argument for either option.”
