The heart-warming moment Manchester United legend David Beckham substituted himself for son Brooklyn

David Beckham may have left Manchester United more than 12 years ago but the former England captain still knows how to tug on the heartstrings of the Old Trafford faithful.

The former Real Madrid man organised today's Unicef charity match at the Theatre of Dreams where a Great Britain and Ireland side ran out 3-1 winners against a Rest of the World XI.

After putting in a dazzling display, Beckham substituted himself...for his 16-year-old son Brooklyn.

15 years ago, after winning yet another Premier League title, David paraded an infant Brooklyn around the Old Trafford turf.

Today, he welcomed him onto it to the applause of 76,000 fans.
Not bad for a teenager, is it
