Manchester United winger Memphis Depay missed the team bus ahead of tonight's Champions League game at home to CSKA Moscow, as per the Daily Mirror.
The Mirror reports that Memphis, who has garnered a reputation for outlandish behaviour, had to drive himself to the club's hotel, where he arrived five minutes later than the rest of the squad.
The exciting winger, who joined the club from PSV Eindhoven in the summer on a £150,000-a-week contract (per the Daily Telegraph), made an impressive start to his United career but has found himself out of the side in recent weeks, with Anthony Martial having been moved out to the left flank.
Memphis, who was part of the Netherlands side that failed to qualify for Euro 2016, has also suffered the ignominy of being dropped from the Holland squad for their forthcoming friendlies against Wales and Germany.
Memphis was involved in a training ground altercation with former United player Robin van Persie whilst representing the Netherlands last month and is in danger of becoming more renowned for his exploits off the field than his achievements on it.
When he is fully focused, however, it is clear that Memphis is an immense talent. At the age of 21, he has much time on his side to improve his lifestyle and rectify his mistakes.
Memphis has created four chances in the Premier League this season, two fewer than Martial.
Meanwhile, the winger's average shot accuracy of 44% in the Premier League is the lowest return of any United player who has had an effort on goal in the top flight this campaign.
