According to 'Daily Mirror', Poland international and Bayern Munich's star striker, Robert Lewandowski, has been charged with drinking alcohol at Warsaw's National Stadium.
Lewandowski, whose 15 goals helped to secure Poland a place in next summer's European Championship, has been charged by the Warsaw Police Department with drinking Champagne inside the stadium after their win over Poland.
In Poland, the law dictates that "alcoholic beverages sold, distributed and consumed inside sports facilities must not exceed 3.5% of alcohol" and "can only be drunk in designated areas".
Luckily, Polish Police have closed the case: "We can't take this seriously", said Lewandowski's agent, Cezary Kurcharski, on the Polish website SportweFakty. Meanwhile, Lewandowski has not commented on the matter and just tweeted the following message: "Cheers!"
