Sevilla fans attacked in Manchester

The build-up to Sevilla's Champions League match in Manchester was marred by unsavoury scenes when some of their fans came under attack from violent supporters. A number of people were hurt and the Spanish club has already been informed of the extent of the incident.

Around a thousand Sevilla fans travelled to watch the group-stage game against Manchester City at the Etihad. According to witnesses in the area where the incident occurred, the attack may have been perpetrated by Polish fans (some of them were wearing City colours and others those of Wroclaw).
