The banners from the Bayern Munich supporters in the away end at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium certainly made their point: "£64 a ticket, but without fans football is not worth a penny!"
The excessive price of match tickets, at around £64 a go, led the Bayern fans to hold a protest in which they took to their seats five minutes after the game had started.
Large sections of the home support clapped their German counterparts into their seats in a sign of appreciation of the point being made by the visiting faithful.
