50 shades of Ronaldo

Cristiano looks set to follow in the footsteps of David Beckham. It appears that Cristiano Ronaldo's film debut is imminent and will come under one of the greatest directors of all time: Martin Scorsese.

The Real Madrid star has been promised a part in The Manipulator, the new film from the Oscar-winning director. The film is based on the life of the millionaire Alessandro Proto, who supposedly inspired the character Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Ronaldo's involvement in the production appears to be due to the fact that the prolific goalscorer bought an apartment located in the exclusive Trump Tower which previously belonged to Proto, and the director has selected it as the film's location.
