Messi's new son: It's a boy!

Lionel Messi's wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, gave birth to the couple's second child, also a boy, coinciding with 'La Diada de Catalunya' (National Day of Catalonia) celebrations.

The player was absent from first-team training because of that reason.

Messi's first child, Thiago, was born in November 2012 and his brother will be named Mateo.
