Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is as popular as ever with Red Devils supporters
Marcos Rojo looks to be as popular as ever with the Manchester United supporters despite his recent absence from the Red Devils side.
The Argentina international has been regaining match fitness after United manager Louis van Gaal gave the centre-half an extended break following the Copa America earlier this summer.
Rojo, who moved to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon last summer, is facing a battle to recover his starting spot after United kept three clean sheets in their opening three games.
But the 25-year-old centre-half was all smiles as he posed with some United supporters on Saturday ahead of the club’s trip to Swansea City tomorrow.
Rojo wrote on his Instagram page: "Thank you for so much affection. #MUFC #RojoIsRed"
The 25-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions during his debut Premier League campaign, and it hoping to rack up many more should he be given a prolonged run at the heart of United’s defence.
Before making the £16m switch to the North West, Rojo shone for Sporting Lisbon and Spartak Moscow, and has amassed 37 Argentina caps to date.
