Adidas signed a 10-year partnership with the Premier League giants last summer, taking over all kit manufacturing from Nike.
Man United are set to earn £750 million out of the new deal.
Adidas clearly want to make as much noise about United’s new kit as possible, and so they have sent some kits to lifetime commercial partner David Beckham, who has modelled the shirt on Instagram.
Beckham told his millions of followers: “Nice little gift with love from Manchester … New Adidas kits for me and the kids…”
Interestingly, the Manchester Evening News reports that while Becks was able to wear a “Beckham 7″ 2015-16 shirt, fans are prohibited from buying it at the club megastore.
The M.E.N report the megastore is unable to print the names of either Beckham, Eric Cantona or Cristiano Ronaldo on the back of United’s new Adidas shirts due to image rights.
