Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny proudly posts to Facebook after proposing to girlfriend

Wojciech Szczesny is a proud man this evening, after his girlfriend said yes to his marriage proposal.
The ‘Pole in Goal’ posted to Facebook to confirm that girfriend Marina Luczenko, who is a musical artist, had said Yes to his marriage proposal, and the pair had a get-together with a group of friends to celebrate.
Szczesny has spent a romantic summer travelling with girlfriend-turned-fiance Luczenko, with the pair heading off the beaten track to Thailand.
Szczesny has had a difficult couple of seasons as far as football is concerned; having lost his place to David Ospina last season after being caught smoking by manager Arsene Wenger, he now has Petr Cech to contend with for competition.
Last season was the culmination of a tough couple of years, and after coming up through the ranks earmarked for greatness, the Pole’s form and development has undoubtedly tapered off from that prodigious beginning.
But off the pitch things appear to be going very smoothly chez Szczesny.
