Mesut Ozil did not take long to switch into holiday mode after jetting off to the United States for his summer break.
The Arsenal playmaker headed to Los Angeles after his sparkling display for Germany in the 7-0 thrashing of Gibraltar on Saturday night, as he notched up three assists.
Ozil posted the picture above of himself in some shades and wrote: “#Sun #LA”
The midfielder was snapped leaving a nightclub in LA in the early hours of Tuesday morning as he begins to unwind for the summer.
Ozil, who joined from Real Madrid in 2013, scored four goals and notched up five assists for the Gunners as Arsenal finished third in the Premier League table and qualified for the group stage of next season’s Champions League.
The World Cup winner, who joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, missed a large portion of last season due to a knee injury.
