Liverpool stars enjoy pineapple drinks in Ibiza

Alberto Moreno and Javier Manquillo appear inseparable after the Liverpool pair uploaded a snap of their Ibiza holiday.

The Spanish pair have become firm friends after they completed moves to the Merseyside outfit in last summer’s transfer window.

Moreno featured more prominently in Liverpool’s season than on-loan Atletico Madrid defender Manquillo, who spent most of the campaign on the bench.

The Reds full-backs posed for a snap on their sunbeds as they got stuck into their pineapple-themed drinks on Monday afternoon.

Moreno posted the above snap and wrote on his Instagram page: “With my friend #manquillo in Ibiza #muytranquilitos #cositasmuyfinas #finashierbas ajaiiiiiiii”

Moreno scored two goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for the five-time European champions in his first season at Anfield.

The Spain international moved to Merseyside in a £12m deal from back-to-back Europa League winner Sevilla last summer.

Manquillo, meanwhile, joined the Reds on a two-year loan deal from Atletico Madrid and featured in just 10 Premier League games last season.
