Liverpool star hints at Mateo Kovacic signing?

Dejan Lovren has fuelled the speculation linking Liverpool with a summer transfer for Mateo Kovacic by posting a picture of himself with the midfielder on social media this week.
 
Kovacic has been touted as a possible target for Brendan Rodgers as the Reds boss looks to bolster his midfield options at Anfield ahead of next season.
 
Liverpool have been linked with a £15.2m summer transfer bid for the midfielder in recent days.
 
And Lovren has done little to quell the reports linking Kovacic with a move to Merseyside by posting the picture above on his Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon and writing: “Grande @kovm20.”
 
The 21-year-old midfielder scored five goals and made three assists in 29 Serie A appearances for Inter this season.
 
Lovren, meanwhile, made 26 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this term following his summer transfer to Anfield from Southampton. He also featured four times in the Champions League group stage for Rodgers’ men.
