Wayne Rooney’s sons have been causing something of a stir around Manchester United in recent days.

The Red Devils captain uploaded a snap of his eldest boy Kai singing autographs outside Old Trafford for fans after a goalless draw with Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

And now Klay, who turned two on Thursday, has been looking to impress manager Louis van Gaal on the sidelines at Old Trafford if Rooney’s latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

The 29-year-old’s youngest son was kitted out in the full Manchester United strip for a snap in the Theatre of Dreams, and Rooney posted a special birthday tribute for Klay.

He wrote: “It’s all about this little man today. Happy Birthday to my youngest son Klay. 2 today!”

Louis van Gaal’s side are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table heading into the final game of the season.

Rooney has scored 12 goals and made five assists in 32 Premier League games for United this season.
