Some of the Premier League's Brazilian contingent
Rafael da Silva enjoyed bragging rights on Sunday night after the Manchester United defender joined his fellow Brazilians for a spot of dinner.
The Red Devils star met up with Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho and Liverpool duo Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Leiva after United had drawn 1-1 with Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Louis van Gaal’s side saw their top-three finish guaranteed after Liverpool lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace on Saturday, whilst the Citizens look likely to finish in second place ahead of Arsenal.
But the Brazilian contingent cast their Premier League rivalries aside for a spot of food after a long domestic campaign.
Rafael posted the above photo before Fernandinho opted to repost the snap to his page, sticking with the defender’s caption:
''Friendship that can not die. Friendship dinner top.”
Fernandinho has three goals and has made three assists in 32 Premier League appearances for Manuel Pellegrini’s side this term.
Rafael, meanwhile, has played just 10 league games under Van Gaal after an injury-hit season for the Red Devils.
