Juventus striker Alvaro Morata scored the goal tonight which sent the Old Lady into the Champions League final at Real Madrid's expense.
Claiming it was "difficult" for him, Morata took to Instagram late on Wednesday night to share his thoughts on the historic victory for Juventus.
Born in Madrid, the 22 year old joined Juventus last summer after coming through the Real Madrid youth academy.
Alvaro Morata was criticised on Twitter for not celebrating his goal tonight, having also scored in the 2-1 Juventus win in the semi final first leg.
On Instagram he wrote "In the finaleee!!! They were two very special matches, difficult for me… Thank you all for your support!!! We will fight until the end in Berlin!!! #FinoAllaFine #ForzaJuve #RoadToBerlin #GraciasFernando."
In his post match interview Morata claimed he was never going to celebrate against his former team.
"I wouldn't celebrate that goal even if I scored 1,000x. Its been difficult for me to play these 2 games. Its been a sweet & sour sensation for me. It was hard for me to concentrate playing here. We want to go & win the final now."
