Leo Messi opened up about his personal life in a chat with footballing magazine 'FourFourTwo'.
The Argentine Ace revealed who his best friend is in the Barca dressing room: "We all get on well, but I've always been closest to Dani Alves, because we played down the right of the pitch together when he joined Barca".
"We've spent a lot of time together on and off the pitch and we've developed a great friendship in our personal lives. That also helps a lot in games".
Leo also had kind words for Piqur: "There are moments when he jokes around, but when it comes to playing football there are only two things I would use to describe him: serious and hard-working".
Messi also talked about the general atmosphere in the Barcelona dressing room: "We try to have a social life that goes beyond training and games. We spend time together when we can, but we also all have our own lives. We need time to spend with our families. We have obligations and many of us have children to take to school or put to bed early. Our children need some of our time".
Messi also thought back to his first days with Barça: "I still remember my first trial with Barça. I was 13 years old and I was in Barcelona for 15 days. We were staying in a hotel close to Plaça Espanya and everything went very well. My teammates were very welcoming and it only took two days before I started calling them my 'friends'. It was an incredible experience".
