Vincent Kompany and Gael Clichy were among the Manchester City stars who held a street party to mark a new mural at the club's Academy Stadium.
Women's players Emma Lipman and Lucy Bronze and Mathias Bossaerts and Kelechi Iheanacho from the Elite Development Squad (EDS) also attended the event with over 100 local schoolchildren.
The finishing touches to the 64 metre-long mural, which depicts football being played around the world, were provided by skipper Kompany and his team-mates.
And Kompany said he felt proud to be a part of unveiling.
The Belgian said: "It's been a special street party event today and the wall looks incredible."
"When Manchester City Women's and our EDS teams play at the Academy Stadium, our fans will be able to see City's history and future reflected in this wall."
"Being at the City Football Academy, in the heart of Manchester means that we have a greater bond with the community and the surrounding areas and today's event showed this connection in action."
