TAT'S THE WAY TO DO IT: Rooney and his new ink
Starsport has been handed this stunning snap taken in Turin of Rooney - a boyhood Everton fan - with the Liverbird tattooed on his upper arm.
It comes just 10 days after he lost a BET with Liverpool-supporting pals.
The England skipper bragged that he was certain to score against them at Anfield last month.
So sure that he'd find the back of the net, Rooney vowed he'd get a Liverpool tattoo if he didn't.
Manchester United won the game 2-1 courtesy of two Juan Mata strikes - but Rooney fired blanks.

He stopped Mata from completing his hat-trick by taking a last-minute penalty in the knowledge he would avoid getting the tat if he scored.
But Rooney's effort was saved by Liverpool stopper Simon Mignolet.
It meant the United captain, who was last month filmed getting knocked out by former team-mate Phil Bardsley in his own kitchen, had to get inked up.
Childhood mates initially demanded he get YNWA - short for You'll Never Walk Alone - tattooed on his knuckles. Former Kop favourite Daniel Agger has the same artwork on his.
But Rooney refused in the knowledge he couldn't cover it up to the public.

Pals say the striker instead compromised to get YNWA and a Liverbird on his upper arm in the belief it'd never be seen.
Rooney wears short-sleeve shirts during games but ALWAYS wears an underlayer, both for club and country.
He had booked himself in for laser removal treatment this week - following the international break - to ensure the situation went no further.
But this sneak pic has leaked out from a pap in Italy as he relaxed before last night's friendly.
PAYING THE PRICE: Rooney lost a bet with Liverpool-supporting mates
It's set to anger Everton and United fans, who will be livid at their star man's latest actions.
Rooney, who grew up on Merseyside in Croxteth, burst on to the scene at Everton in 2002.
He made himself a Goodison Park hero and once revealed a t-shirt that read "Once a Blue, always a Blue" after scoring.
But he quit the Toffees for United in 2004 and has endured a stretched relationship with the Everton faithful since.

Rooney already has five other tattoos on his body.
He has one on his forearm that reads: “Just enough Education to Perform”. Rooney didn't finish his school education and hasn't any GCSEs.
He has "English and proud" on his shoulder, a prayer tattoo on his back and the Celtic cross on his arm.
Rooney also has Coleen's name above the cross.
