WAYNE Rooney could “whack” any rivals in a fight, a top boxing coach who worked with him has revealed.

Joe Gallagher said Roo’s sporting talents went beyond football.
He added: “He’s got good feet, hands and hits hard and sharp.
"He’s heavy-handed and throws good combinations.
"He’s a footballer first and foremost but you can see he’s got good basics and can handle himself in the ring.”
He spoke after a video showing Wayne, 29, being “knocked out” by former team-mate Phil Bardsley, 29, during a friendly tussle at home.
