On the balance of things, Arsenal deserved to beat Manchester United in their FA Cup clash at Old Trafford.

The victory was marred somewhat by the dismissal of United winger Angel Di Maria.

Michael Oliver’s decision to give him two quickfire yellow cards has largely been met with praise but there is a section of fans who think it was harsh.

The man behind Gunnerblog is not in that section. He thinks Di Maria should have been given a straight red card.
