Eden Hazard thanks Chelsea fans after reaching landmark

Eden Hazard took to social media on Thursday afternoon to celebrate scoring his 100th career goal for clubs and country.

The Belgian playmaker netted the winner as Chelsea beat West Ham United 1-0 on Wednesday night to secure their place at the top of the Premier League table.

The goal at Upton Park was Hazard’s 44th for Chelsea, and the midfielder shared the photo above on his Instagram account.

He posted the picture and wrote: “100. thank you for your support.”

Hazard has been in fine form for Chelsea this season and has been an integral part in the Blues’ Premier League title challenge.

The 24-year-old has scored 10 goals in the top flight and has also notched up six assists for his team-mates.

Hazard has also scored twice and set up two goals in the Champions League for the Blues this season.

Hazard will be expecting to feature when Chelsea host Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League last 16 clash next week.
