Injured Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard watched their 2-0 win away at Southampton from the comfort of his home.

The impressive win takes Liverpool into 6th, just 2 points off rivals Manchester United in the coveted Champions League places.

Steven Gerrard took to Instagram after the game, posting pictures of the two goalscorers Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling.

Gerrard captioned the photo of Coutinho scoring a screamer "wow" and captioned the Raheem Sterling photo "Big win for the Reds. Well done Raheem Sterling."
