Bayern’s Bastian Schweinsteiger uses his boots to big up his relationship with Ana Ivanovic

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger enjoys using his football boots to pass messages about his love life.

To recap, last week it was reported that Schweini had made it clear his relationship with 26-year-old German model Sarah Brandner was over through the use of his boots during a winter trip in the Middle East.

Schweinsteiger was originally seen wearing Nike boots in training with ‘Sarah’ written on the side earlier in Qatar, but later on Schweinsteiger had put a black marker pen over his former partner’s name in what was taken as a sign that the pair are truly done.

Now Schweinsteiger has again hit the headlines for his footwear, as the German World Cup winner was spotted with a Serbian flag on his boots together with “31/7 duso” stitched on his cleats.

The Serbian flag is thought to be a shout out to Schweinsteiger’s newest love – tennis star Ana Ivanovic – who this week crashed out of the Australian Open in a shock result.
