Robert Pires took the time to snap a selfie with Alexis Sanchez after watching the Chilean fire Arsenal to an impressive 3-0 win over Stoke on Sunday.

The former Barcelona man was once again in inspired form as he scored twice and set up the other against the Potters.

Sanchez has now scored 17 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season following his £35m transfer to the north London club from Barcelona in the summer.

And former Gunners midfielder Pires was all smiles with the man of the match in the Emirates dressing room after the game.

Pires shared the photo above on his Instagram account and wrote: “With the man of the match #alexis#Sanchez#theopires. Well done Gunners.”

The 26-year-old Sanchez has also made eight assists for Arsenal so far this season.
