Manchester United Trio Post Happy Selfie

Manchester United trio Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Ángel Di María have had a good Saturday it would appear.

The trio have published the following selfie ahead of Sunday’s important game at home to Southampton:

Ángel Di María could make his Premier League return tomorrow after getting a 30-minute run out in last weekend’s 2-0 victory at Yeovil Town in the FA Cup.

The Argentine international has not played in a league since their final game before Christmas, a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.  Di María has suffered a couple of injuries since joining United in the summer.  He was also injured during last summer’s World Cup, missing both the semi-final and final as a result.

Ander Herrera made his return on New Year’s Day after missing most of the busy Christmas fixture list with injury.  He played 90 minutes last weekend too.  With these two returning, Juan Mata’s position is under threat having been left out of the side earlier in the season to accommodate for the new signings, before injuries kicked in.

Third place Manchester United host fourth place Southampton in the 16:00 GMT kickoff.
