Frank Lampard lies about NYC-Manchester City deal on FB, just before club admit to truth

Frank Lampard wrote a Facebook post in order to clarify his situation this morning, amid all the rumours and counter-rumours regarding his contract(s) with New York City and/or Manchester City.

Since Lamps wrote this post, things have developed, and Manchester City have come clean over the whole thing, admitting that they actually signed Lamps for the whole season, and that he had no binding contract with New York City.

Amazingly, Lampard's story in this post contradicted what Man City would later reveal, meaning he was lying about others being liars; o irony.

Lampard claims in the post that he signed with NYC in August, and that this was all a loan deal, and that the extension was only a recent development; which we now know is not the case.
