Diego Maradona’s daughter reveals how she cockblocked her dad with Salma Hayek

Diego Maradona's daughter Dalma was a TV show called Arrob@n this week, and during her appearance she revealed a funny story about how she stopped her dad getting together with A-list actress Salma Hayek.

Dalma told the following tale:

We were at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006 and actors Javier Bardem and Salma Hayek arrived. At that time I already wanted to be an actress, so I started talking to Javier.

But when I turned around, my old man and Salma were dancing and having a great time!

An hour passed and they were still dancing, and I said, ‘OK, that's enough'. So I told Diego that I was sleepy and that we had to leave. You do not know what face he looked at me.

According to Dalma, Diego tried to trick her by pretending to go to sleep whilst still wearing his full outfit, including his shoes, in bed. His plan was to sneak out once his daughter had dropped off.

Unfortunately for Diego, however, his plan backfired as he ended up dozing off, thus missing the end of the party and his evening with Salma Hayek.
