Hibernian FC 2 - 0 Alloa Athletic - Hibs back to winning ways
Posted Sunday, December 14, 2014 by PA
A goal in each half put Hibernian's promotion push back on track as they ran out 2-0 winners at home to Alloa.
Last weekend's 1-0 loss at Falkirk was Hibs' first since September and they responded in the perfect manner.
The home side hit the ground running in their bid to get back to winning ways, with Danny Handling finding the top right-hand corner of the net from close range in the 28th minute.
Their third win in their last four was secured 17 minutes from time when Dominique Malonga struck a left-footed effort home after being teed up by Liam Craig.
Six minutes later they missed the chance to add some gloss to the scoreline, defender Liam Fontaine's header being well saved by Alloa goalkeeper Craig McDowall.
