Manchester City just announced that their Argentina forward Sergio Aguero was voted for the Etihad Player of November. However, Kun's injury may turn this seemingly happy news to the adverse side. It's reported that Kun's injury may deteriorate, which would delay his comeback - next February at the earliest!
Aguero was also picked as the Etihad Player of October. In this November selection, Aguero earned 80% ballots, followed by Joe Hart(2nd place) and Yaya Toure(3rd place). In November, Aguero contributed 6 goals and 2 assists for the team, so becoming the Etihad Player of November was well deserved. In current Primier League table, Manchester City only sit 3 points adrift of leader Chealse. And Aguero currently tops the Top Scorers table, followed by Diego Costa staying 3 goals adrift.
In the last run against Everton, Aguero hurt his knee ligament early on the game. And he left the field with pain and tears on his face. City manager Pellegrini said Kun's recovery time was 4 weeks and believed he could come back soon. But according to The Independent, Kun's injury may worsen and his recovery time may prolong to 8 weeks. If this rumor was confirmed, it would be a bolt from the blue for Manchester City. Because if Kun had to wait until early February to return, he would miss the forthcoming Christmas schedule.
