PSG ready to pounce on Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling by tripling his salary

Could Raheem Sterling be playing alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic sooner rather than later?

PSG have thrown down the gauntlet, according to the Independent on Sunday, by laying out their attempts to sign Raheem Sterling from Liverpool.

Sterling is currently in contract talks with Liverpool, although the talks are slow paced with the midfielder reportedly reluctant to talk about extending his £30,000-a-week contract at Anfield.

With the talks at an impasse, PSG are ready to strike.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are ready to triple Raheem Sterling’s wages in a bid to exploit his contractual stand-off with Liverpool.

Cash-rich PSG – bankrolled by the Qatar Investment authority – are willing to dwarf [Liverpool's offer] and have not ruled out offering Sterling a six-figure weekly wage to secure him.
