Greenock Morton vs Airdrie United preview - Barrowman back for Morton

Morton welcome Andrew Barrowman from a hamstring injury when they entertain Airdrie.

Fellow striker Declan McManus is also included after Scotland Under-21 duty, but Stefan Milojevic and Stefan McCluskey are both injury doubts.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "It is great to have Andrew and Declan available as for the first time this season I have options to choose from in attack. Hopefully that will help us be more clinical and get the goals to see off Airdrie.

"It was disappointing to lose to Alloa last week but this game gives us the chance to bounce back."

Airdrie include new recruits Luca Gasporotto and Bryan Prunty in their squad as they look for their first win of the season.

John Boyle remains out with a knee injury, with Diamonds boss Gary Bollan hoping that on-loan Rangers defender Gasporotto will help solidify his defence.

Striker Prunty has joined from Dumbarton to convert the chances his new team-mates have been making.

Bollan said: "We need to be a bit tighter at the back and we also need goals and these guys can help with that. Neither Morton or ourselves have made the start to the league we would have wanted so winning this game would be a lift."
