Forfar Athletic vs Peterhead preview - Quadruple headache for Forfar

Forfar are missing four players through injury as they look for their third home win of the season when they entertain Peterhead.

Aaron James (jaw), Andrew Steeves (hamstring), Martyn Fotheringham (ankle) and Chris Templeman (ankle) have all been ruled out.

Jim Paterson has arrived, though, and manager Dick Campbell said: "We have done really well at home with wins over top sides in Dunfermline and Morton. It would be terrific to make it three in a row by seeing off Peterhead, however having watched them recently at Brechin I know that it will not be easy.

"If we play like we can then we can get that third win."

Peterhead are missing Mark Millar from their midfield for a second game running due to a knee injury.

However, Dean Cowie is available as surgery on his knee problem has been postponed.

Graeme Sharp and Scott Ross are doubtful after missing training due to illness, with manager Jim McInally set to make a late call on new dad Steven Noble, who has also been absent this week. Andy Rodgers is free to play despite his dismissal last Saturday in the Petrofac Training Cup for dissent.

McInally said: "Forfar are a well-established side with a good experienced squad that has evolved to help them win on an artificial pitch."
