Dunfermline vs Stenhousemuir preview - Millen missing for Pars

Dunfermline are missing the suspended Ross Millen against visitors Stenhousemuir.

Alex Whittle is a doubt after picking up an injury in a midweek under-20 match. Ross Drummond is fit enough to return to action, however Ryan Wallace is missing due to a pelvic problem and Jonathan Page has joined East Fife on loan.

East End Park manager Jim Jefferies said: "Stenhousemuir came here last season in Scott Booth's first game in charge and played with a lot of men behind the ball in a goalless draw.

"Scott has recruited well since then and I would imagine that their approach could well be different this time out."

Stenhousemuir travel to Fife with new loan signings Tom Walsh from Rangers and Gary Oliver from Hearts on board the team bus.

However, goalkeeper Chris Smith remains absent with a knee injury. Jamie Reid and Martin Grehan are both expected to shake off knocks to play.

Manager Scott Booth said: "We played well in patches against Ayr United in our last game and we need to hit those high standards right throughout the 90 minutes to do anything at Dunfermline.

"We can fall out of things for spells and that needs to stop. We are still a bit too open at the back and that needs to be better."
