Leicester City are closing in on a deal for Lokomotiv Moscow striker Dame N'Doye, talkSPORT understands.
Foxes boss Nigel Pearson remains keen to add to his striking options in the remainder of the transfer window, despite Argentine striker Leonardo Ulloa's arrival from Brighton for a club record £8million last month.
The Russian outfit are resigned to losing the Senegalese international who was Lokomotiv's top scorer last season with 13 goals in 27 appearances.
And sources indicate the clubs are very close to agreeing a fee in the region of £5m for the former FC Copenhagen hitman.
N'Doye, 29, was on the radar of Norwich recently and is keen on a move to the Premier League after two seasons in the Russian top flight.
