MANCHESTER UNITED have made a second bid for Juventus star Arturo Vidal, according to reports in Italy.
WANTED: Manchester United hope to sign Arturo Vidal this summer, according to reports
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Vidal all summer, with new boss Louis van Gaal eager to bring the Chilean ace to the Premier League.
And new reports claim United have offered Juve £32m and a player swap deal for the playmaker.
It is understood the player in question is neither Mexican striker Javier Hernandez or England international Danny Welbeck.
Van Gaal has told Welbeck that he can leave United which has sparked interesst from other clubs.
It is believed that he is behind Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Hernandez in the pecking order.
Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta meanwhile has insisted the midfield star is going nowhere this summer.
"We have no ongoing negotiations, nor have had requests the player to leave," he said.
"Vidal has always said he wanted to stay here and we are more than happy to keep him."
