Dumbarton will be without Scott Smith and Garry Fleming against Alloa.
Smith and Fleming are struggling with ankle injuries as the Bet Butler Stadium side look for their second win of the season over the Wasps.
Manager Ian Murray said: "Alloa have done well and not many people would have predicted that this game would be between the sides in fourth and sixth place at this stage of the season
"We did well to win at Recreation Park and go into this one on the back of a good success at Livingston so we can be confident. It would be great to win and pull level on points with our visitors."
Alloa welcome former Dumbarton player James Creaney back after injury to give manager Paul Hartley a full squad to choose from.
The Wasps go into the game on the back of three wins and three clean sheets, with Hartley saying: "We are playing well just now but we cannot take anything for granted as Dumbarton beat us earlier in the season and had a good win at Livingston last week.
"Both teams have done really well in this league when you consider that they are part-time and I am sure that, like me, their manager Ian Murray is in no mood to let standards slip."
