Ayr Utd. vs Stenhousemuir preview - Lithgow gives Ayr a lift

Ayr will look to climb back above visitors Stenhousemuir in the race for a play-off spot when the sides meet at Somerset Park and have Alan Lithgow available after illness.
Exciting young winger Alan Forrest returns after a month out with broken hand, but Martyn Campbell (broken foot) is unavailable.
Player/manager Mark Roberts said: "We have the players that can win this game and if we stop Stenhousemuir from playing then we have a better chance.
"They have good attacking options, but we know if we can keep John Gemmell from making an impact then our chances of winning increase."
Stenhousemuir will be without Ross Brash (foot), Sean Higgins (groin), Josh Watt (ankle) and Darren Smith (knee), while Bryan Hodge is doubtful.
Manager Martyn Corrigan is hoping that a lack of fire-power does not take a toll on his side.
Corrigan said: "Three of the players missing are attackers and our plan was to take the game to Ayr despite them being one of the strongest sides in the league.
"The players that are coming in have the chance to show what they can do and everyone knows that they need to be at the top of their game to pick up points."
