With Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich to contest the Champions League final, the 53-year-old boss has given a plethora of other players a rare chance to impress
Germany coach Joachim Low has called up a sizeable number of fringe players for his side's upcoming friendlies against Ecuador and USA.
With Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund's stars involved in the Champions League final and Real Madrid duo Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil's club season ending on June 1, the 53-year-old has announced an experimental squad.
The likes of Max Kruse, Philipp Wollscheid, Sidney Sam and Nicolai Muller all have the chance to make their debut for their country, which Low feels that they have earned.
"All four have been very convincing throughout the season with their clubs," he told reporters.
"Now they have a chance to present themselves and I look forward to seeing how they deal with it."
Meanwhile, Aaron Hunt and Andreas Beck have been called up for the first time since 2010 and players such as Lars Bender, Benedikt Howedes, Roman Neustadter and Andre Schurrle have the chance to stake their claim for a regular spot.
BVB duo Kevin Grosskreutz and Sven Bender will join up for the second game against USA in Washington, DC, on April 2 along with Miroslav Klose, who will represent Lazio in the Coppa Italia final on May 26.
