Pichichi goes to final

Besides trying to help their teams clinch the Copa del Rey, Diego Costa and Cristiano Ronaldo will be fighting to claim the competition's award for top goal-scorer. Both players - Radamel Falcao might have a word to say on the matter - will be the focal point for all watching.
Atlético de Madrid striker Costa has played a crucial part in his side's progression to the final by scoring seven goals. Meanwhile, Ronaldo has netted six times and is the only player who could beat Costa to the goal-scoring crown after Álvaro Negredo's Sevilla exited the competition - the striker scored six goals.
Costa has been slightly more consistent in the tournament and has scored in every round for Atlético. The Brazilian was on the score-sheet in the last-sixteen against Real Jaén and then in the last-eight when his two goals at the Calderón sent Getafe packing. In the quarter-finals Costa's goals helped to dispose of Real Betis and in the semi-finals he continued his fine run with three goals - two at the Calderón against Sevilla and another at the Sánchez Pizjuán stadium.
Portuguese forward Ronaldo has only scored in two rounds, but his goals proved to be decisive on both occasions for Real Madrid's quest to reach Friday's final. The Madrid goal-machine scored four times against Celta de Vigo in the last-eight - one at the Balaídos stadium and a hat-trick in the home game. In the semi-finals against Barcelona, Ronaldo's two goals at the Camp Nou proved to be the deciding factor.
